Reasons that may slow down your Job Application Process:
Unfortunately we have some candidates whose details we will not be able to add to our Active Database because of some missing documents.
These documents may include:
- Original Childcare Certificates or other qualifications that may be relevant in Childcare work (Mothers help and Au Pairs do not usually possess any Childcare qualifications)
- Enchanced CRB Disclosure (or equivalent police check) as mentioned before
- At least 2 Written Reference Letters from your past employers or College
- Minimum of two Identity Documents (examples of acceptable indentification include the following: passport; driving license; birth certificate; utility bill; work permits/visas)
Please note:
We will be contacting all your referees, so if you know the times your referees are most likely reachable, please let us know as this will definately speed up the process.
Why you may not be accepted to work as a Nanny but are offered After School Nanny or Mothers Help positions?
Qualified Nannies and experienced Nannies will know answer to this question but there are many who don't.
Professional Nannies are usually Qualified and Experienced. However there is no legal definition of a Nanny profession.
People who come straight from the Nursery settings are qualified

Mothers Helpers are working usually with Mother side-by side when Children are small or independantly when Children are over 4 years old.
Mothers helper job will require you to be on top of the household duties and possibly picking up Children from nursery or School.
After School Nannies usually do not help with household duties as their work starts by picking up Children from School and taking care of them until Parents arrive home.
