Au Pair Scheme
The scheme allows a single person between 17 and 27 to come to the United Kingdom to study English. An Au Pair will live as part of a family and will help the family by taking care of children and doing light household chores.
They normally work for 5 hours per day (Monday to Friday) and baby-sit for up to 2 evenings per week. They must have at least two days free per week and must receive a minimum of £65 pocket money per week. They should also be allowed time off to attend an English Language Course. Au Pair’s working hours are 25 hours/weekly.
Au Pair Plus – same responsibilities as an Au Pair but will work 26-35 hours/weekly.
Q: When is an Au Pair or Au Pair Plus the best choice for your family?
A: Au pairs are best suited to families with school age children, where both parents are working, or to families with younger children where the mother is at home full time or working part time from home.
Mother’s Help
Mothers help works usually between 8-12 hours per day. They may have no formal qualifications but should have good experience with children. They may have cared for siblings, done regular babysitting or helped out at a local playgroup. Depending on their experience, they may be able to have sole charge of toddlers and school-aged children.
Q: When is Mother’s help the best choice for your family?
A: They are expected to be in the home looking after children normally whilst the mother is at work, or helping the mother in a busy household. They can normally take upon sole care of children over 3 years old.
Nanny
We offer only qualified Nannies, meaning that Nanny will have one of following qualifications:
NNEB (DCE), CACHE, GNVQ, ADCE, BTEC, NAMWC
Other Qualifications include the Pre-School Play-Group Diploma and The Montessori Childcare and Teaching Diploma, also some collage diplomas are considered.
Qualified Nanny can have sole care of children of any age. She/he is professional in childcare and can give high impact to your childrens development.
